Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. a competition at the Olympics. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was only six years old. Comaneci competed for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. The following year she was crowned champion. She took home three golds at her first competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. Her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champ winning four golds and a silver. She was the first woman to complete a reverse double salo with the bar with a parallel surface when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment began when she was a teenager. Together with her sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol's career began in entertainment in her teens. Her first job was as a figure skater, performing alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
