Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played in film and television. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American TV. Emily's passion for acting started in the year 12 she visited their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. After realizing her passion for acting, she began to take acting classes and went for auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were, but soon got cast as a child actor in the Canadian television horror show Are You Scared of Darkness? The show had one episode that she didn't talk. The first time she was seen on screen was at 15 years old when she got a role on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. The show ended up being cancelled after only nine episodes, her performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily can also be a dancer, a photographer and was listed as one of Teen's top 20 actors. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
